Real Party – Under the Sea Party

Real Party – Under the Sea Party

When my best friend Ronette asked me to style her Son Zach’s 1st Birthday party I knew I had to make it not only fun but also something very special for a little boy who just melts my heart every time I see him. Under the Sea is such a cute theme for parties and so simple to put together with a little imagination and creativity.
When you live in Florida, you can find seashells, sand at the beaches and create a little beach scene on your table. I found some seaweed grass at Michaels craft store to add to the table along with some light green glass gems.

I filled sand pails with every child’s favourite snack food goldfish, some pretzels sticks, and assorted candies. Zach’s Sister Juliana who happens to be my junior party assistant helped by making Seaweed Pretzels Sticks, Green grape kabobs, and Sushi rolls made out of rice krispy treats.

We added little Under the Sea creatures to the table to give it that final sea world look. We served great food, along with cake pops, cupcakes, chocolate covered oreo cookies, chocolate and blue milk for the kids.

The children received bubbles, their choice of a stuffed seahorse, shark or dolphin toy along with some adorable sea creatures to take home.
