When the beautiful Luciana’s mummy asked me to set up a special little tea party for her 6th birthday we decided to incorporate lots of pretty Liberty party accessories such as the gorgeous little crowns and party bags as well as the napkins and party plates. What little girl doesn’t want to wear a crown on her birthday and be a princess for the day! I used tiny vintage coffee cups as teacups for the little ones and pink and gold Tuscan ones for the adults.
Each place setting had a little name tag and an initialled tag on each party bag to make it extra special and personalised. The rose gold sequinned runner was perfect along the middle of the table to add some girly sparkles. There was a very pretty cake table with a beautiful ruffle cake and cupcakes by Judith’s Cakes & Bakes and some sweetie jars and I covered some books with the Liberty Betsy napkins to use as props with a Liberty fabric covered glass jar.
On the table, there were yummy salted caramel/strawberry macarons along with lovely heart shaped shortbread and pretty chocolates all displayed on pretty cake stands. For table decor, I covered some wooden bobbins in different Liberty fabrics and displayed flowers in them as well as a candle holder with some flowers & greenery in the centre.
Luciana was thrilled to bits with her Princess tea party and her mummy sent me this pic of her and her little friend enjoying the party and wearing their Liberty party crowns!
