We know that many of our customers enjoy decorating their own cakes so we’ve now brought in a collection of blank Christmas fruitcakes for you to give a festive makeover! The delicious traditional fruitcakes are created by expert baker Fiona Cairns, they’re matured then covered in marzipan and delicious white icing so they have a longer shelf life.
You can use our fruitcakes as a blank canvas for your Christmas masterpieces; add festive patterns or snow using white royal icing, add classic sugar paste decorations or traditional toppers and if you’re feeling super creative why not try topping your Christmas cake with festive gingerbread biscuit shapes! We used our Christmas baking accessories and had a go at decorating a cake of our own! We went for a modern look with a ‘Merry Christmas’ topper in the centre, a little forest of star toppers and glitter food picks. We then decorated the outside with shimmering sugarcraft snowflakes. You can of course make something more traditional too, we’ve got plenty of those resin toppers every household seems to have!
