Ginger Lemon Punch Recipe

This is a quick and easy party drink recipe from leading vegetraian restaurant Tibits. An effective immune booster, it’s aromatic served hot in the winter, and refreshing poured over ice in the summer.

Ginger Lemon Punch Recipe


Serves 6
Preparation time
15 minutes

To make the ginger lemon syrup:

  • 80g ginger, peeled and chopped
  • 3 lemons
  • 6 tbsp sugar
  • 8 tbsp elderberry syrup
  • 4 tbsp water

Served hot, per serving:

  • 5 tbsp ginger lemon syrup
  • 1 cup of hot water
  • 1 slice of lemon

Served cold, per serving:

  • 5 tbsp ginger lemon syrup
  • ice cubes
  • sparkling mineral water
  • 1 slice of lemon


  1. Peel the ginger and chop roughly.
  2. Squeeze the lemons (you need 120 ml of juice).
  3. Mix all ingredients in the food processor on full speed, for about 5 minutes. Leave to settle for a few minutes, then pass through a fine sieve and refrigerate.
  4. Serve hot: pour into a cup and top up with hot water. Garnish with a slice of lemon.
  5. Serve cold: pour into a glass with ice cubes, top up with sparkling mineral water and garnish with a slice of lemon.
